Thinking my TR275 Nukeproof is a bit limiting for BPW adventures, esp with me being rubbish.
I could upgrade the frame, but my wheels aren’t boost so I’d have to change the rear as well.
AnywY at£2500 the Ariel 60 Sounds like great value. Are theBombers okay? Happy with deore level stuff.

If it's the Z1, it's basically a rebadged Fox 36 and should be a great fork.

That Saracen looks like an excellent choice for BPW and similar riding.

Always heard good things about the ariels through the years, was going to get one last year, but couldn't find it, looking at maybe hitting the 30 for trail purposes this year or next, only thing that i'm wary about is the reach on these, the medium is 480mm, that's an inch more than my current ride, then again a small hits the right spot, so worth a test or even a sit down on one for feel i'd say.

I bought a 30 last week. Quick delivery, doesnt feel too stretched even though I've gone from 450 reach to 505 - the ett is pretty much the same due to the seat angle so seated feels the same, stood up is more roomy

@5Lab

Can I ask your height and "usual" frame size? I'm 5' 11" which is always in the overlap between M & L. I usually opt for Large...

Other than that, so far so good, albeit early days of course? 😄

I'm 6'2 but tend to size down, was moving from a dartmoor hornet (l) to this. All good so far, only one enduro-y ride in, frame got a bit of cable rub but otherwise very happy. I found the seatpost a bit low travel, dropped a 170mm reverb in for now but will probably swap it for something 210mm ish later on.

I also swapped the stem to a 35mm stem I had on my old bike, again personal preference

I might have gone for m if it'd been full 29er out of the box, but very happy I didnt

Edit.. forgot one downside.. internal cable routing and no guides. Luckily it only took 5 mins to get the reverb through. I had visions of it taking hours
