Hey,

I have a Planet X Jack Flash which is a Medium (16 inch frame), it's always felt a little long with the top tube length being 23 inches. I'm after a Santa Cruz Chameleon small and wondered if this would be better. I'm 5'6 and want a manouerable frame.

If you have a small Santa Cruz Chameleon for sale please email me at shortlandpalmer at googlemail dot com

Also can you advise on the adjustable bottom bracket, useful of a waste of time?

Thanks

Depends on whether you are running singlespeed or hub gear.
But then,if you were, you wouldn't have asked the question. 😉

Hey,

Just after running a normal bottom bracket. I had read that some people found them to creak...

Thanks

The bottom bracket is invaluable is running SS or a hub gear. And they can creak . . . . if you dont set them up properly. Install everything as you are meant to and you'll have miles of silent running. Ive never had an issue with mine!

My EBB started creaking and despite my best efforts I couldn't get it to stop. I eventually put it into an LBS that did manage to kill the creak and it's been silent since. Lots of copperslip everywhere is the answer, apparently.
