Hi all. Going to be buying a new frame soon and trying to weigh pros and cons of various choices.
Anyone got a town crier and what's the biggest tyre you've had with reasonable clearance for dry conditions? Any tyre caught you out by unexpectedly failing to fit?

Don't know if you mean 650b or 29er, but i've got a 29x 2.4 ardent in the rear of mine. It's a bit tight and the rim is narrow, so would be a narrower tyre on a wider rim.

Ahhh yes. Should have specified 29". Thanks for the info.
