Just curious more than anything else. Saw one in a local bike shop last week and it looked like a nice bit of kit. Well made, decent components and a decent price.
Other than the Sanderson website I can find no information on the bike. No reviews, owner opinion or anything else. Anybody on here have one, know about them, taken a test ride etc?
Just seems odd that, what looks like a decent bike, seems to have no third party opinion or information.
Cheers,
P
They're a small company (might even be just an LBS that designs/imports frames IIRC) with no marketing that I've seen.
But I had one of their 26" 853 XC bikes and it was by far and away my favourite steel hardtail, closest ive come since was a swift. If the new bikes are half as good then it'll be great.
They are small.
They are fab bikes - well made, nice welds and good paint. Handles beautifully.
I own 26" Breath. Can you tell?
I've got a 26" Sanderson Soloist SS. Properly nice bike. I have rode the 26" version of the Blitz. It was an absolute hoot.
Cheers guys. It looks like a lovely bike and the store owner said it's a similar bike to the Bfe. Long travel, aggressive HT. Seems good for the price. Might ask for a ride on it, just to see how it handles.
Does it have a replaceable dropout?
The finish on my Sanderson Life was the best I've ever seen.
But I ripped the mech hanger open 3 times and it cost me a fortune every time to get it reset with a welding torch.
I razz around on a Soul now - which was poorly finished in comparison but a new mech hanger is £7 if I ever need to replace it.
(Also had a Soloist and the EBB was a nightmare)
Replaceable by the look of it. Never even heard of the brand until I saw the bike. Finish was lovely.
I have a Sanderson Life, 26" 853 steel. Lovely bike.
