Thinking of riding over there next week.
So if it's really wet, do you really need a MTB? or will I get away with doing it on an old touring bike without killing myself?
I don't mind an occasional little push but not miles and miles of it.
cheers
not too bad, farm track to start, then broken tarmac and concrete most of the way.
1 big rocky climb/push, then flat across the top.
i did it last september on the leccy bike, no problems.
cheers Ton
I'll be with lads on CX bikes so they'll be fine. Didn't want to bring the MTB 'cos the route has a lot of road sections and I won't be able to keep up with them
i run 32c tyres on the leccy bike, and was carrying a sqr tour bag on the back.
fantastic track it is too, ace views when clear. enjoy.
