I've got a Salsa Cutthroat v2 frameset which I want to mount post mount brakes on. Both frame and fork have "rear" flat mount mounts (hence no mention of "front" adapters in the remainder of my question).
The rear mount is designed for 140-160mm rotors, whereas the fork mount is specced for 160-180mm rotors.
Since I'd like to mount a 160mm rear & 180mm front rotor, I think adding a +20 flat mount adapter (Shimano SM-MA-R160DD)Â with a 160mm "float mount to post mount" adapter (Shimano SM-MA-R160PDH) on top should work for both.
Will this work? Is there a simpler way to archieve what I want (e.g. a single adapter)?
i dont follow the question fully BUT
just to point out that you need longer than standard bolts for the front Flat mount on a cutty ! - so often overlooked (my self included)
Thanks for the hints!
