I know this will have been asked before but the search is throwing up threads from ten years ago.  I am heading to Stonehenge this weekend and want to ride Salisbury plain.  Was thinking of parking on The Drove then riding up to Larkhill and getting on the byways across the plain.  I am taking my Genesis Fugio which I am hoping will be up to the job.  Not going to need the full sus am I?  Any riding hints and tips for me?  Places to see or places to avoid?

A gravel bike's fine. Fit bigger tyres with a decent corner edge that can ride across muddy ruts and all's good. The King Alfred Way section there up to the Ridgeway is pretty good.

There is/was a 'Glorious Gravel' event on Salisbury Plain this year, and they often have the route files available from their website or you can hunt it out on their Strava page too. Might be a good starter at least to build from, along with the King Alfred Way route which I think runs straight past Stonehenge.
