My Saint pedals have gone a little wobbly on the spindle. They havnt got any end float but they wobnle on the spindle.
If i unscrew the spindle locknut, is there anything i can service inside?
The spindles are available as spare parts ( https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/pedals-cleats/shimano-saint-pdmx80-pedal-axle-assembly-left-y46r98020/ ), but the symptoms make me think the outside bearing surface has developed play inside the pedal body, which is bad news.
Still, you should open them up and check what the actual issue is (the right one is reverse threaded). If the cup-and-cone bearing has any play, you can adjust it out, but I'm thinking this would have manifested as axial play as well.
Don't disassemble the bearing completely, it will be a pain to put it back together; following a tip from a friend, I filled the body with grease, then inserted the axle. When tightening the axle, the new grease will displace and eject the old one.

A pr of the service kits are about £5 more than new pedals....argh!
All I've ever needed/managed to do with mine is re-grease and re-assemble them.

The bearings probably just need a bit of adjustment - You can tighten up the bearings in the same way as a cup and cone hub, but they are *very* touchy to get just right (IME). The locknuts on one spindle were left-handed on mine, despite the instructions saying that they were both right-handed (IIRC, the left-handed nuts had notches around the outside).
The spindles are the same/similar to other Shimano pedals - about 11 minutes in for the bearing adjustment (I have dismantled mine, but wouldn't bother again - just adjust / re-grease as shown):
I found that it needed a bit of trial and error to get the right balance between smoothness / play with the bearing refitted to the pedal.
