After trashing my zee levers in a big off Ive replaced them with saint levers (cheap deal from ze Germans). Nice to have the lever adjust, however the free stroke / bite point adjust appeas to do bugger all. Is this right or have I got a duff set?

Oh well gives me something else to adjust but without the risk of buggering everything up

Bleed the brakes with them screwed out. Then when you screw them back in they do work a little.

Will give that a try. I'm right in thinking it's meant to adjust the bite point of the lever stroke??

In my experience it pushs the pads closer to the disc...
As said above, bleed them with the stroke adjust screw all the way out and levers as far out as they go..
This will let you get as much oil in the system as possible...
