SO I have a charge spoon saddle currently which really isn't very comfy, on longer rides it really is bleak. I don't have a particularly svelte rear end either, so am looking for inspiration for a saddle I can spend hours on!
Cheers in advance
Lots of suggestions in this thread
Im in the same situation, I got the spoon based on the reviews but I cant walk straight after a ride!
Specialized. Go get your sit bones measured. Each saddle type comes in three widths.
The Spoon is about 140mm wide, and a very rounded shape. Worth getting your arse measured, but also worth considering the shape too.
FWIW I hated the Spoon, it cut me in half and made by bits tingle in no time at all! Look at flatter or semi-round shapes with a little back ends, and preferably (if you suffer from tingly bits like I do) a cutout along the length of the saddle.
Here's a few I find a lot more comfortable, but no guarantee they will of course work for you.
PRO Turnix 142 Anatomic
SGD Bel Air
Velo Senso Sport 3206
Fizik Vesta (yes, I know it's a ladies saddle!)
