As per the title really. Anyone used Saddle Skedaddle for any trips, or specifically Mongolia? We’ve always wanted to go to Mongolia (don’t really know why, as we aren’t the most adventurous people - our most out there trip so far was 8 days bikepacking in Italy), and in a shocking turn of events one of their trips aligns with @p20’s pre booked leave which never happens. It’s a lot of money, and we’ve never been on a guided trip (more than one night kayaking). Thoughts/experience welcome.

I've done quite a few, but not anything for 10 years. Always excellent, small groups, great guides, amazing food and experiences. I've been to the Lofoten Islands (Norway), France/Italy MTB, Sardinia MTB twice, Morocco Altas to Desert MTB, Spain MTB, then a few road riding trips in France and Italy including a couple of private tours.

Almost went to Alaska with them but they didn't get the numbers for the trip.

Thanks beej. Sounds like you’ve had some very good experiences. We normally sort all our own trips out, preferring to do our own thing, but I think for somewhere so different there is certainly an appeal of going guided.

We used them in Sardinia and in the lakes here, Mrs Kilo also did the sandstone way with them. Found them to be really good, and would use again.

Our Sardinia trip was also memorable for illness ripping through the entire tour, bar one guy who is probably on here, giving me the most spectacularly luminous vomit ever (a passing dog ate it) and leaving one girl hospitalised with dehydration - nothing to do with Skedaddle (they were also sick) but they did manage to cope with it all very well
