Hi all,

Have an 8L Restrap seat bag that I love and would like to start using it on my newly built hardtail.
The hardtail has a 200mm CB Highline dropper, and I've been debating which bag adapter to use on it, Topeak DP vs Wolftooth Valais.
The Valais seems to be a little more robust and maybe allows for a better bag attachment, but is more expensive, stanchion diameter specific and eats more dropper travel.
The Topeak DP is half the price, will work on any dropper and seems less obtrusive without a bag.

Any experiences around here with these?

Thanks in advance

I just use a bit of pipe lagging - slightly wider than the strap.

Used to use pipe lagging. That worked fine tbh

Now use the Topeak DP. Works better because it allows me a bit more drop

How is the DP where it touches the dropper seal when bottoming out?
I know that the Valais protects the seal so you can bottom out carelessly, but not sure about the DP
