I've been using these

for a couple of months. They have (bizarrely)reduced my PF massively (unlike all the other interventions I have tried). However they give me massive blisters on my heel. I've had the same problem with Inov8s in the past when I used to do mountain marathons.

I've persevered but am getting blisters on blisters! So, what is similar from other companies? I've researched but after any advice. I suppose the key thing is differential between the midsole height at the heel and the forefoot is 9mm. These any good?

Have you tried the kettle thing? I've never suffered with Inov8s but I know people have got around the heel cup thing by softening the shoe over a steaming kettle for a minute or so and then putting the shoe on. Might be worth a bit of googling?

Don't know your other shoes but love the NB 101 for a general trail shoe.

Ive tried the Kinvara with no issues except the thin upper mesh didnt last very long.
Currently quite happy in Brooks Pure connect. They're Comfy and are very well made. Mine are 10 months old and i do all my road work in them.
I will try the Addidas Adios range next as they are available cheap and get good reviews.

Ta chaps - yes I tried the kettle thing with Inov-8s years ago - didn't work for me. In fairness I have quite a pronounced heel spur and all my shoes wear inside the heel cup before the sole!

Nosemineb - I've had Brooks before and like them. Out of the 2 shoes which as least cushioning? What I liked about the Inov8 was that it was low to ground and not too padded.
