I have a RQ on the front of my Enduro and it's a BIG tyre. Height will be dependent on your rims though, as they will define the sort of profile the tyre takes on to a certain extent.

I have Mavic x819, so not especially broad.

I've got the 2.2 UST RQ's and even they are a big/tall tyre - have clearance issues on my Motolite; if wet or muddy I can just grind to a halt with mud, leaves, twigs, etc.!

hh and CF, any chance of a pic of the tyre in the frame. I'm thinking about one and would like to know how big the 2.2 and 2.4 UST come up.

What compound is it and how are you finding it, the black chilli compound anything like supertacky?

Sorry, no pics of the tyre online. Just had a measure and mine stands appx 2 1/4" tall off a DT 420sl.

Just the ordinary compound, as I wanted something pretty hardwearing (fit and forget tyre!). Very impressed with it so far. Seems pretty light for the size, clears mud well and seems to track brilliantly! OK so the triple clamps, direct mount stem and 25mm bolt through axle will all help on that, but it's a massive improvement over the Eskars the bike came with!

Do the RQs run fast or drag up hill ?

The tyre's great uphill, the rider less so!

Ditto! And the gibbon holding the bars being the limiting factor on the way down. No photos of a RQ in the frame but, if it helps, I did take a photo of one lined up next to a 2.1" UST Maxxis Advantage - I was doing a long XC ride and wanted something lighter:

I will say that it's a very confidence inspiring tyre.

Thanks CptFl
Looks like the 2.4 is too big for my clearance, maybe 2-3mm spare !

2.2 for me in RQs

Does the UST 2.2 RQ come with a soft compound?

got the 2.2 RQ ust and they are huge. i took them off after a couple of rides because of the mud clogging up on the forks and rear triangle. i ride a Soul with Bonty Rhythm elite wheels and revelations. will be saving them for summer and going to the alps.
2.2 ust are a harder compound to 2.4 but still a black chilly compound. I have some 2.4 mountain kings and RQ 2.2 are bigger! the 2.4 must be massive..

No, the UST's aren't the Black Chilli compound - sadly! Have checked this with Continental themselves, as have others. There was a lengthy thread on this a few weeks ago here!
