Currently riding a Whyte 901 hardtail and want to try a large volume tyre for odd days doing uplift type riding so not too worried about weight. Will be continuing to use my 2.2 contis for majority of my riding. Have seen the wire bead rubber queens for £13 at crc, will there be enough clearance on my frame and forks?
Probably not. The 2.4 Rubber Queens are huge!
Would 2.3 barons be a better option then, any other suggestions, looking to spend sub £50 for the pair.
They might fit but they will be pretty rotten unfortunately, conti rely on their expensive rubber to make these tyres work.
