hello,
am rebuilding some cheap giant root brakes as both levers have a weep from the hose - think its the wee o ring in there thats at fault from some ham fistedness on its previous owner during ' a service' - the o ring has been nipped and lost some shape...
trying to source some small 4/5mm o rings - nitrile or rubber? its a mineral oil system...

If it is a mineral oil system use nitrile (or fluorocarbon). Basically just don't use ethylene-propylene (commonly EP).
