Hi I have run an cheap rsp dropper seat post for 6 month without any problems, but on today's ride it wasn't playing ball! It is not locking into place when fully down and keeps popping back up. Anyone else had this problem that can give me any advice on sorting the problem?

Thanks Marc.

Strip it down, clean and regrease lightly can get it going again. Or, take a bit of tension off the spring by very slightly unscrewing the big allen key hole in the bottom. Seems to be a fine adjustment line between allowing it to stay down and getting it back up fully.

is the silver collar at the top of it fully screwed down? Mine won't lock if it's not.
