Wrecked my new pike rt3 stanchions on Saturday in a pretty spectacular crash, only used them for about 5 rides so is worth buying new stanchions and getting them fitted by a lbs or a buy new full set?
If so any deals around?
Cheers

If you have the part number take a look at Petra Cycles website for Rockshox spares. I reckon the stanchion assembly is going to be around £200 though...

Solo Air or Dual Position? 26 or 29?

All are in stock with Fishers, all are (wait for it) £329, if you've got the variant I can give you the part number.

May be cheaper elsewhere, but that's retail.

Just had a quick look and the crown assembly is retailing for around $350 (can't locate any in the UK so far) so you're definitely better off going for a new fork if the stanchions really are trashed.

They're the single air.

That's expensive but still cheaper than new forks. I suppose the question is whether the other bits have any value- maybe someone'd buy the dampers for a set of Lyriks or Boxxers?

Yeah, i'd say RC from the frogs and change the inners over would be your best bet, then get the lowers on ebay to recover £100 or so.

Would the RC and air spring drop into a Lyrik fork? If so you could probably get £150 or so for that maybe?

I'd not thought of that, could be the plan. Cheers

(profiteering from other people's misfortunes) if you were to happen to get a 26 inch, 160mm dpa fork, I'd be interested in taking the spring off your hands 😉

Can I use the bits off a 26"?
I've got 150mm 650b 15mm solo air.
Which store is the French one?

Have you spoken to a LBS? May be worth seeing if there is a crash replacement price? Unless you bought it online in which case they probably won't be up for doing any favours.

You need to buy a 650B Pike fork for the correct CSU. 26" and 650b have different part numbers.
