Morning all,
The jump in pricing from remote to crown is pretty steep so wondered if it is possible to remove the remote from a set of SID Ultimates or will it do something daft like leave them locked out? Alternatively, can you convert by changing the dial or is it hideously more complicated than that and requires a change of damper too?

I’ve had the 100mm and the 120mm SID Ultimates on two different bike and just never bothered with the remote and they work fine.

I take it you mean as in you didn't fit it. We're you still able to switch between locked and open etc?
