My fork is attaining only 50% travel and then it abruptly stops. Known issue? Four years old so not expecting a warranty job. Anything I can do or is it a return and cough up job? Thnx

Locking at 50% of compression suggests a hydraulic lock csued by the rebound seal head leaking oil out of the damper chamber to the lower leg oil bath.
You need to change the seal ( you may as well service the whole fork while it's apart)

Have you recently had the bike upside down?

Try gently putting some zip ties down the side of the seals. Compress forks. See if that sorts it. If not strip and clean.

Let us know how you get on.

I've got a set of rs rev dp forks. Work perfectly but if I turn the bike upside down I get some kind of lock. I don't get full travel, I also get a bit of travel suck. The zip ties trick suggested on here fixes it.

I think it's about time I sent them to loco 🙂
