I can't get a 2.2 RQ UST seated on my WTB Laser disc trail rim.
Tried soapy water and my 9p compressor to no avail.
Never had issues with Maxxis UST on these rims.
Any advice?
Takes 50psi to seat mine on crests, pain in the backside out on the trails with a 6in long pump 🙁
Try the washing up liquid neat. I managed to get them up with a track pump on a pair of xm819s with this method. An alternative is to put a tube in, seat the tyre, then take the tube out leaving one side seated on the rim.
This is what puts me off tubeless.
60psi on ghetto tubeless inflator. easy. Ive got different rims though.
wasting time on trails is what made me go tubeless. Never looked backThis is what puts me off tubeless.
Just a bit worried about my ghetto inflator exploding in my face!!
Tried 40 psi, will try 60 next!!
Mines a coke bottle and its gone up to 70psi fine. Think it can take a lot more
I will MTFU!!!

Yes! Don't buy Small Block 8 USTs! I'm a big show-off as to how easy I can fit and seal any UST tyre, but SB8s are a nightmare!
This is what puts me off tubeless.
Don't let it put you off. Get a pair of fairly cheap Crank Bros Cobalt 2 wheels and you'll experience an instant improvement.
I had a set of those rims and took 60 psi to pop on. Keep pumping and they will pop on.
90 psi onto dt Swiss ex rims! Left em for an hour or so. Been fine since.
The inner tube method worked a treat.
