Will this model fully "lock out" like my CTD or just go a bit firmer as many 23s do ?

3 positions of pedal pro, no lockout.

May go mildly firmer or do nothing at all depending on how lucky you are

I had mine TF tuned as the lockout wasn't. Now it really is they also managed to stop it blowing through it's travel so no more pedal strikes on small dips etc.

This. But then your CTD wouldn't have been lock out either unless you had the remote lock out fitted.

I put lockout in inverted commas as I know it doesn't fully lock out but my CTD goes really solid.
My rp2 on my other bike goes really firm as well.

My CTD doesnt have lockout it just has the climb mode, a drawback for me as I'd much rather a lockout mode and then a fully down mode, rather than the inbetween trail mode.

RP23s don't lock out. You've got Propedal on or off with the blue lever. Blue dial adjusts through three levels of Propedal.

I think the RPL is the same as the RP23 but has lockout/PP/open instead of 3 PP settings.
