I have both of these, identical eye to eye dimensions so will fit the same frame. One is a standard RP23 with Boost Valve, the other a TFT Pushed version from a retired frame....

Would one offer a better performance than the other or is it too close to call?

I have both and prefer the Push'd shock. Find the BV shock very harsh at speed. Frame is a giant trance x and previously a pace 405.

Unless the old and new frames have the same leverage characteristics, you may find that the pushed shock is not configured to perform well on your new frame.

SBrock, the pushed shock has fractionally wider top eye bushes so it wont go in the frame without a trip to the shop...

So the pushed shock isn't set up for your bike or weight?

Just pull them out and swap with the other shock.

It wont work on an Ibis because it has been set up for the leverage ratios of the Marin.
