Has anyone used them? Are they a bit fragile?

I bought some of their Mercury gloves and on their first ride out - a pootle around Bedgebury i.e. nothing extreme or crashy, I get back to the car to find they have unstitched themselves on one of the fingers.

Any recommendations for gloves that actually last?

Send them back.
I have got the mercury ones too and they are great. Certainly no signs of them falling apart yet.

That did occur to me, although I did think that if they are gonna fall apart on me then I may not bother. However, if they are generally sound then I will.

Of the gloves I have tried (Royal, Fox and Spesh), the various Royals have been the best fitting and hardest wearing. The 'mesh' stuff on the back of the hands frays a bit but that's just cosmetic.

Can't comment on current Royal models though, since the three pairs I rotate wearing are all 2 or 3 years old and going strong.
