You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Anyone been to Rowberrow lately? Is the blue trail rideable or is it a mudfest with trees closing it? Want to take my son this weekend.
Dry, fast and rough. Fallen storm trees are now cleared.
There is a dig day planned for Sunday. I think they are planning on working on pig pen and happy valley. Don't know if it will actually happen but might have an impact
Excellent, be good for him to see the magic trail fairies - he'll be well up for having a go in a few years.
We didn’t get over there last year. Is there any off piste stuff left?
Not really, FE commissioned a contractor to specifically fell trees across the off-piste.
I was there last night, trails running better than they have for ages. Go while they still are like that!
I was also suprised to see some 'off piste' lines still being ridden by a couple of people. I can't help but feel the FE will try to shut the whole place down if that carries on, given the already fine balance that has been struck. The main trails are decent enough!
Might have to be a bit of a loop down to Cheddar then.
Shame about the off piste but I always got the feeling MTB was not welcome on the hills.
Couple of runs at robberrow then our past the race track and turn right halfway down. Single track to Cheddar over that style thing.
Bit of road on the way back and come back in by the radio station thingy.
Turn right out across the road where the ice cream van is singletrack down behind BAB then up the link road.
Sound like a plan ?
Couldn’t find the right turn 🤷🏻♂️
I got told about that turn a year or so back when I was exploring - found it ok - it’s quite sharp up to the right - goes along a permissive bridleway round a field then you sort of turn off left and suddenly find a bit of cheeky singletrack that flows nicely
