Staying between the two places next weekend. Can anyone recommend any decent routes, ideally with some tech descents between 1 and 2 hours please

Mostly traditional XC around there. Looking at the map there's a few short, steeper, BWs but I've not done them. Some of them look like farm tracks.
The BW into Hafren via Afon Bidno is decent in either direction. There are BWs on the hills back towards Llangurig from Hafren.
