As title really, I have a mate who's heading down that way in a couple of weeks and wants a 3 hour'ish loop out from the town. I've done a few enduros from there but they were pre GPS so not got much of an idea.

Cheers Ade.

Pop into Clive Powell's in Rhayder with a packet of jaffa cakes, OS188 and a highlighter pen 🙂
And buy some tubes.

Yea was thinking of that, but as I was down that way at the weekend on the Enduro motorbike, there is no way swmbo will let me out again for a while!

There are some good routes around builth, I know as grew up riding around there but there is nothing waymarked. Not sure where I'd start trying to describe a route...

John Lloyd the organiser of the CRC marathons and the new Ritchey Trailmasters is the man to speak to for local route info, I think he also does guiding or at least used to? His contact info is in the link below.

Llanwrytd Wells is a good option not far away, IMO the best riding in the area. I know you can get maps to follow some great trails from there. Dothie Valley route being one of them.

Good luck!
