Is there an app or a GPS which will auto plot a route for you?
Say I wanted to do a 50km road ride, I would specify the distance on the app or gps and it would plot it from my location.
Normally I manually do it on plotaroute or similar but a friend was saying they had come across something which did it automatically. Obviously they could not remember any details of this magical thing!
I have tried searching for it but my google skills are weak today. Any help from the wise would be much appreciated!

Some of the newer Garmin Edge series do this but I've not used one. Then again what it decides as a route might not be particularly pleasant!
