I want to do a Roubaix style ride in the spring but what is the best mapping app to enable me to plan the route on a PC then follow the route from my android phone? Have used Google maps in the past but since an 'upgrade' it is not so simple. What do other people use?

Map my ride is fairly good. Follows roads automatically and can be exported as a GPX.

Strava route app is excellent... follows roads automatically and tots up distances etc... I never use anything else for road routes
