[Closed] Route following app

So you know how sometimes you're riding using your garmin and you go off route slightly and then when you get back on the route it eventually says 'course found'. However, when you're riding a route which goes up the same climb a fair few times it often gets it wrong and goes back to the beginning again, then when that climb then splits off with another climb with more laps it happens again.

I used to use the strava app to view the route which would allow you to scrub through your route to see which direction you're supposed to go. Shock horror with their new fangled version they've done away with that, now instead some faster than lightening gimmicky bright light flies round the thing at a speed which only superman could follow.

I've checked viewranger and no joy there, does anyone have an app that could be used the way I've mentioned? Allowing you to actually see which direction you're supposed to turn at any point along the route?
