I have a cheap headset on a commute bike i'm building up from spares/used parts. The circular plastic seal that sits between the fork crown race and bearings has snapped. Does anyone know where i can buy a replacement? If not i'll just buy a replacement headset.

My guess is you'll struggle.
A section of inner tube makes a great seal though.

If it will stay in place, use it snapped. No worse than a split crown race (unless there's a massive gap in it now).
