is it me or are they being a little bit stupid. Went to buy issue 14 on their website and they tried to charge me £4 shipping for a £9 magazine. Went to wiggle and got it with 5% off and free shipping... Surely they'd make more money if they delivered it for free from their own website!

Yeah but if it was cheap then the people buying it would assume that it was actually crap because for that sort of market, it's all about the notion that paying more always ensures better quality. In fact, I'm suprised there isn't the option to have it delivered to you by a fixie riding courier (at a suitable premium - say £100). 😉

Agreed, but I've got a subscription for it. Spotted it on wiggle the other day. If you are thinking of taking out a sub for it then use this code for 1 free issue SUB5FOR4, I got it when they shut their forum down.

Thats the thing that cheeses me off about rapha - £120 for a jersey then you need to pay £4 postage. I need some socks but I'm not buying till I get the new catalogue which will no doubt have a postage offer.

I take it you must buy it then clubber.

In fairness, there is no better special interest magazine full of artistic pictures of unbelievably butch belgians. You get what you pay for.

£9.00 for a magazine. They'd need to be very butch Belgians for that sort of money

You can see both their muscles, and their suffering.

To be fair, they do have a boxed edition of the first thirteen issues, at only £250.
A bargain, perhaps, at nearly £20 per issue.
Super-butch Belgians?

Moses if you see how much the first issue goes for on ebay then that may be a good investment. Wouldn't pay it myself though as I have them all.

I have all except issue 1, and did - for a split second - consider buying the boxed set and then selling the excess copies on ebay. Then I realised that, even at the premium they wanted to get issue 1, that was a toss idea. So, I'll live without it.

Mind you, I'll be pleased when either my sub issue 14 turns up or they reply to my email telling me where the **** my butch Belgians are. Maybe the fixie rider got a nosebleed bringing it to Manchester.

(Same goes for the most recent ST, though I haven't sent an email chasing it up - sorry, darling, I just don't care like I used to etc. )

I bought a couple of the early editions, but was disappointed with the quality of some of the photos, which were like they had printed using the low-res on screen DTP preview.

Cheers. I shall give them until tomorrow, and then start chasing. Three days is long enough to reply to an email.

I've never read Rouleur, but they had a feature about my hideous orange Bic jersey, that finished by saying that the Bic team was as disposable as the pens. So I quite like it.

Hmmmmmm.
Sigma Sport sent me a comp issue 1 after a slight problem with a new/ old saddle. It has been at the bottom of the bathroom reading pile for at least a year though.
