I want some unfashionable outdoors wear. Where can I get them in Manchester. I am sick of buying over priced endura rubbish.

Try New Cross Army Surplus on Tib Street.
You can go for a beer in Cord and have a look in the trendy fixie shop as well.

I saw some in TK Maxx last week! Only XXL though but at least you won't have to wait for them to get baggy...

Go Outdoors in Cheadle (not quite Manchester but right next door - I think they've opened a store near Parcel Farce / Ancoats) are virtually giving them away. In fact, I think they have a deal on them. Buy one pair, take the lot free. Awful things but they're stocking them.
Actually, they may not be Bikesters. They may be the 1970's running ones. I can't tell the difference.

the running ones are the gash ones and the bikesters are the stylish ones
FFS people who wear skin tight lycra in garish colours getting all fashionista like the rest of the world does not look at us and laugh anyway
Cheap cheerful and reliable set of commuter wear IMHO.

it was meant to be humorous- one of us failed then- of course they are gash but most cycle clothing is
I am not sure the insults would have calmed me down; counselling is probably not you calling 😉

Are you in need of counselling? You have my empathy.
Ps. Try and work harder on your typing and typed humour. It's not very obvious. Sorry for calling you mard arse.

Please bring on the rapture, if it saves us from pointless internet arguments about practical sportsware, it'll be worth it.
