I'm in the middle of giving my Rockshox XC28's a lower leg service - the manual says they have foam rings but there's none inside mine.
I have a kit with new wiper seals and foam rings - is this correct that these forks don't use the foam rings? I have an older version (not sure when exactly - the bike is around 2 years old).
Anyway - should I put the new rings in as per the manual or leave them out because there weren't any to begin with?

Forget it, I left them out in the end. It was probably a stupid question to begin with, I just got a bit nervous at the time expecting them to be there 😕
