Morning All,

as above. Looking at the possibility of using one of RS (2 position) Twistlocs rather than a fancier 3 position.

I've always gotten on with Grip shift shifters (remember that wholesome X Ray crack 😊 ) and I have a Rohloff so in theory a Twistloc ought to not be much different ... 😏

I have the modern pushloc and its horribly plastic. Sadly my older (all metal) poplocs don't pull the right amount of cable 😥

All feedback - good/bad/indifferent - much appreciated.

I have one for the front and rear shocks on my YT Izzo. In 2 years i've learned the following;

It works well when the cables are clean.

Lubing the cables is almost impossible without replacing them.

Its quite easy to unlock if you're not careful where you put your hands.

The grip diameter is very thin and you can't get something thicker for the twisty bit.

If you fall off in spain age manage to get a load of muck/dust in the barrel, its impossible to service & you have to buy a new one for £110.

I have been looking long and hard at replacing it with a lever of some sort from Scott, DT Swiss or Orbea.

I have a 120 Sid Ultimate fork (3-position) and use a Scott Rideloc Front Suspension Lockout Lever I bought off eBay rather than the RS Twistloc which I didn't fancy.  The Scott lever uses the same cable pull per click (7mm IIRC).  You may be able to get something similar for the 2-position?
