Bit of a random one - has anyone ever attempted to remove the black travel marks/indicators on RS forks?
If so - how did you do it?

Why would you want to remove them?
Angle grinder.
Hammer.
Blowtorch.
Fluorosulfuric acid.
Gaffer tape.
Or a combination of several of the above.

I've just got hold of a load of old RS spares and building up some franken-forks, and seeing as they are now fixed travel instead of U-turn I thought I'd be a tart and remove the travel markings.....
After all, STW has an unhealthy obsession with lining up logos/valves/untidy gardens etc I thought this would be the place to ask.......
and as to why (if the above isn't a good enough reason) - why not?!
