Hi all, just replaced the seals on a pair of Tora 302 solo air forks for a friend. When I put the new seals in, I made sure the outside edge of the seal was clean and dry. Same with the mating surface on the forks. However, testing the forks, one of the seals keeps "popping" and sliding up the legs. Odd thing is, it's the damping leg so no real build up of pressure in there other than the obvious one tube sliding into another bit.

Anyone had this before? More importantly, what's the cure?

Cheers.

Too much oil in the lower legs. Should only be 15 ml.

I know as my head seal went on a set of recon I had, dumping the oil into the lowers. This resulted in the forks losing travel and then the seal popping and burping oil.
