Bought a Super Deluxe Ultimate last week and loving the performance.
I am however finding that around 60% of the way into the travel the spring, a red Rockshox, is knocking every time its compressed.
Ive tried the spring both ways and also tried a bit of grease on the ends and its no better.
Any thoughts?

they rattle, get some sticky rubber (slapper / mastic tape) and add some to the plates that hold it. That will quieten it down.

Could you elaborate on this a bit, as I have the same problem. Do you mean some sort of material between the tip and bottom of the spring body, against the two metal plates? What sort of mastic?
