got a Giant Anthem x0, 2012 model fitted with RockShox SID RLT

These are currently at 100mm as it came from the factory. I've done some reading on the SRAM website and think these can be made into 120mm if I open them up and remove a spacer???
Can anyone confirm? I don't want to risk opening the forks as I'm not confident when it comes to forks so don't want to risk damaging them for no reason.

If specced at 100mm they'll be 100mm model only most likely.
120mm are a different model
