Hi
anybody using the above forks and if so what do you think of them and how do they compare to say Fox float 32 RL's. Im thinking of a new bike which is spec'd with them and was wondering if it would be worth upgrading to the Fox 32 RL 15mm axle which is approx £150 more.
I have read a few reviews on the net and they do sound like a really good fork for the money.
Regards

I've got a set of the sektor RL 150mm u-turns and they are bob on. I got then off of crc for £250 a couple of months ago and can't grumble for the money. They replaced a set if talas Rl's that had seen better days. The fox's were good but the sektors are just as good IMO, that said the fox's were well used forks and from around 2004.

The main reason for buying the rock shoxs was the serviceability of them. I paid £200+ for the fox's to be serviced and I am now not in a financial situation to do it again. I suppose it all depends on whether you have got the dollar to look after them and whether you think you will notice any real world difference between the two forks.

I like them anyway.

+1 I've a set of coil u-turns and they are excellent. Not quite as burly as the Pikes they replaced but plush and excellent value.

coils v air reliability?
Are the coils easier/cheaper to service?
@ near 15st fully kitted would I need to change the spring on a coil fork?
Fancy a set of 110-140 Sektors when I can afford/before my 6yr old Fox give up 🙄
