Might just treat myself to one of these Reverbs. Wondering which post size to get for a large Santa Cruz Blur LT2, either 380mm or 420mm? The current post is a thomson 367mm so am thinking the 380mm Reverb will be long enough. Any suggestions?

Also, how do you attach your cable? My frame has dropper guides for a cable operated system?

Thanks

The Reverb has a minimum exposed seatpost of 190mm from clamp to seatrails. Subtract your current exposed seatpost from 380mm and if the remaining seatpost meets or exceeds your minimum inserted seatpost for your frame then buy the shorter post if not the longer.
If you don't have the 190mm of exposed seatpost at the moment then I'd look at different post.
The retail pack comes with clips to attach it to existing cables/hoses if your frame doesn't have dropper guides since yours does it will just clip into them but you will need to supply your own c-clips.

You may have seen this linky but have a good look. My 2011 reverb is awesome but needed bleeding out of the box and is currently at SRAM service centre as main piston seal has failed. Hopefully the 2012 will be more reliable !

Oh and mate is running a 380 on the same frame as you and it's perfect. He is 5 foot 9 and running post as far down as possible. Unless you are a giant you will be fine
