Some tech advise please . Presently got a set of Rockshox Revelation U Turn 85mm-130mm on 9mm QR (2006-2008). I need an X firm(black)spring but I'm slowly giving up hope of finding one.
Can any of the other U turn springs from the Pike/Recon ( 140mm) or Sektor (130) or Sektor 130 fixed spring assemblies be fitted with a bit of 'creative' engineering.
How does the bottom end of the spring assembly differ between the maxle and the 9 mm QR?.
Or -could I take my existing 130mm red spring out of the spring assembly ,and slot in an X Firm 130mm/140mm and re-fit
Any advise would be gratefully received .
