i left my bike in the shed over winter with the pop lock left on and now i have no travel in my forks?
are the local bike shop going to spank me with a huge bill or is it a simple fix (i have no idea or time to tinker)
if it helps there 2009 recon 351 with pop lock (the 90mm - 130mm travel ajuster works fine)
cheers,
Steve...

So is there no travel at all?!
It could be that all the damping oil (right hand leg) has leaked into the lower leg of the fork. This will lose travel, although I am not sure whether it will make it lose all travel or not.

not even 10mm of travel, and the metal on metal sound when you drop of even a kerb isnt great either .

Sounds like they had moisture in and have corroded.
If that's the case, they'll be shagged.

If you are confident with what you are doing, it's probably worth stripping them down to see what's going on & if it all looks ok then rebuild with new seals.

If you aren't sure what you are doing then it might be worth ringing tft, explaining the problem & getting them sent off for some tlc.
