Hi
Found some Rockshox Reba forks at a decent price...thing is there are 2 slightly different versions available at a slightly different price...these are
Rockshox Reba RL Solo Air Maxle Lite Taper 29er 2016 (model MWM6423)
Rockshox Reba RL Solo Air Boost 15mm Tapered 2016 (model FLH9463)
The main difference seems to the Boost bit....is this significant? Is it a diffeerent damper etc?
Cheers
Lee
is this significant?
Yes, boost refers to the front hub axle width, standard is 100mm, i believe boost is 110mm. The dampers on those two forks will be the same.
Oh I see, so my standard Mavic wheels would be suitable for the non boost version?
Thanks for the answer

If they are 15mm bolt through - or you can get adapters for Mavic.
yes, got the 15mm adaptors
Adapting to Boost means adding a 1cm spacer to the non-disc side and re-dishing the wheel, probably you'll need spokes of different lengths?
That is, it is not recommended - just get the normal fork.
got it
I think the boost also has a 51mm fork offset as against the normal one which has something like a 46mm off set.
My experience with Reba Solo air forks (plural - x3) has not been good, and I'm not the only one. Do some searching on the web for problems other folk have had before buying - or even better, save yourself some grief, just don't buy them.
