Just bought myself a pair of RS Reba SL Dual air forks for my xc bike.
Any advice on setup? Is it just a case of pumping them up to a particular pressure?
The usual set up is through a frame that has a headset, couple of spacers perhaps and then attach some handlebars. At the other end attach a brake caliper and one of them circular things with an axle. What kind of set up were you considering?
Thanks Jekkyl, i was thinking more about rebound damping and air pressure etc.
Never owned a Dual air fork before. Wondering if there was any differences I should be aware of compared to single air?
Having researched this recently myself, a good starting point consensus is 60% of your full kitted up weight (in pounds) in the +ve chamber 10psi less in the -ve and tweak it from there.
there are 2 holes to put air in (put air in both) start with the standard settings and work from there, general suggestion of first few rides with a shock pump and see how you find it.
I started from equal pressure with about 20% sag then tweaked. I preferred them with about 5psi more in the -ve chamber then the +ve. Seemed to soak up the smaller trail chatter better.
First set sag, write down pressure, then pump up the other chamber to the same amount.
That's how I have done it, although I have read a few threads that go in to much more depth.
