Quick question, looking at getting some rebas for a 29er XC build but it's a non-remote damper on it. Would I be able to take the remote damper from a 26" pair of rebas and use them in the 29er forks or are there any fork length issues that may get in the way?

Alternatively, are there any better dampers that can be used, maybe a blackbox for example? Ta!

IIRC 2012 onward (the fluted/hollow lower legs) the dampers and spring assemblies are the same 26/29 just the lowers differ.

Having said that, what damper do you have? I have pushloc damper 29er rebas and I don't use the remote so I've got it removed and just use a bit of cable to hold them open. I could be persuaded to swap if it was for a RCT3 damper and we could work out a good way to arrange it (i'm in Bristol if it helps).
