Hi Folks,

I've a set of Rockshox Pike 2016 DPA 160\130mm forks which I decided to add a couple of bottomless tokens to. I've followed the instructions on how to do this (rockshox docs and youtube vids) and everything seemed to go OK. However, when I move the travel adjust dial between max and min nothing happens, the fork travel remains at 160mm. Moving it from max to min now doesn't wind it down from 160mm to 130mm. I currently have the fork air pressure set to 110psi. I'm obviously missing something here, but have no idea what. Has anybody else experienced this or have any ideas what the issue could be? Any help would be much appreciated! The bike is proving to be a nightmare on steep climbs with the travel all the way out at 160mm... making me look like an even worse rider than I already am 🤣

Cheers

Hmmm, I’ve got the same fork and I’ve fitted the tokens in mine but haven’t come across the issue where I couldn’t lower it to 130 so not much help really.

You more than likey have, but when you turn the dial to lower travel make sure you give it a good shove down to enable the 130.

Did you push he token all the way up to the top of the shaft? The travel adjust works by way of the two small holes in the bottom of the shaft and if blocked it may not work - maybe?

edit check the holes are clear

Thanks for the feedback matthearby and richwales. Yeah given the dial a good shove to the first click of the dial ( and subsequently the secondly click) but no joy. The two tokens are also positioned at the top of the shaft. Scratching my head with this one... it should be so simple!! Think I will try and reset everything and then start from scratch again and see how it goes.
