I have a new set of Rockshox Pike Ultimate charger 3 forks. They are 130mm travel and fitted to a Tranny Spur. I have set them to 70 PSI which gives me 30% sag. I weigh approx 76kg. There a no tokens fitted. 1 click HSC and LSC set central. Rebound set middle ish. I have ridden them for approx 8hrs and have fettled a bit but can't find a sweet spot. They seem fine on most stuff but over multi roots , rocks etc they feel uncontrolled and pinged me about. I have adjusted the rebound both directions but this has little effect .

So how have people got these setup?

Just to add . The previous forks were the Pike charger 2 ultimate which I had setup perfectly for this bike.

I was warned off from buying Charger 3 forks (I was looking at Lyrics) when I wanted something more tunable for a lighter rider than my Helms as being hideously overdamped. Its telling that they just released a 3.1 version...

@JohnEdward , I have a set of Lyric charger 3 on my other bike and have them set perfect for my riding, but the pike seem to want a different setup.

Biker , thanks I’ll have a look at that article.

I would have said that 30% sag is way too much. Simply not enough support from the spring.

BTW Rockshox bought out an updated Pike air shaft for Debonair+, it's called the V2. Bigger negative air chamber so more supple off the top. Sounds like that could work well for you.
