As per title really. Has anyone removed one of these? The default position of the loc is locked out so its not as simple as just removing the lever and cable. I can't find anything on Google. I'm pretty handy and have no problems taking the fork apart if needs be.

I believe you can disconnect the spring, thus leaving it active as default, then replace the top cap. Google should have some video instructions.
