I'm looking for some advice on volume spacers for my shock. I've been following the guide in this video
I've got to the step at about 7 minutes but the inside of my shock looks different and I can't see where I'm supposed to put the spacer.

The guy in the vid made hell of a meal of his demo, he’s also made his bike very ugly with that tyre carcas downtube protector.
Anyways, if its anything like a fox shock, gently pull down the bump stop (o ring) and metal plate that you’ve pictured then fit the spacer above them and push the lot to the top of the shaft, the spacer should click into place.
Ah ok, in the video he has that blue plastic seal thing that I don't seem to have so I didn't want to muck about with that metal plate thing.
I'll give that a go though, cheers. It's been really hard to find any info on volume reducers for these new metric shocks!
